Simon has worked in communications for over 25 years and led high profile integrated campaigns for a range of NGO and public sector organisations.
He currently coordinates the work of the End Fuel Poverty Coalition delivering national advocacy to cut energy bills, improve housing conditions and protect households in vulnerable circumstances. Through this work he contributes evidence and insight to Parliamentary inquiries, government consultations and media debates on energy policy and fuel poverty.
Simon also helps to support front line social workers through the Social Workers Union Campaign Fund and provides back up to the team working on the the Scottish Rewilding Alliance’s Rewilding Nation campaign.
Further previous experience includes running campaigns for the Big Issue, Brathay Trust, Carnegie UK, Department for Education, Palms Row Healthcare, Power To Change and Project Syndicate. He co-authored the Freedom To Campaign Guide to the Lobbying Act.
