Nicola Putnam

Circular headshot photo of Nicola Putnam on a green backgroundNicola has over 20 years’ experience of managing communications in the public and private and sectors, working in-house for a range of organisations in government and the NHS and more recently within the charitable sector.

As well as being a member of Campaign Collective, she worked for Friends Provident Foundation, an independent charity that makes grants and uses its resources to campaign for a fair, resilient and sustainable economy.  She is also a qualified assessor for the PR and Communications Assistant Apprenticeship Standard.

Prior to that, whilst leading the national PR strategy for the Skills Funding Agency, National Apprenticeship Service and National Careers Service she project managed PR for an integrated, cross government campaign to promote youth employment, parity of esteem for Further Education and led PR campaigns for National Apprenticeship Week 2015 and 2016. 

As well as working on high profile government campaigns, Nicola launched the first cycling paramedic in the City of York and worked previously in branded consumer PR for SmithKline Beecham, beginning her career as an editorial assistant and runner for Macmillan Publishers.
