The new home for positive news worth shouting about has driven over 83,000 views of uplifting content in its first week.

The Rooftop, which was launched a week ago to cover issues that matter and campaigns that make a difference, has covered positive stories from social enterprises, universities and trade unions in its first week.

With more than 2,200 Facebook fans also signed up, The Rooftop has issued a call for campaigners to submit good news via an online form:

We’re thrilled with the initial success of The Rooftop. From our research we knew there was a gap in the market to tell positive news from campaigners direct to the public, but we’ve been overwhelmed with the response we’re getting.

From the warm initial reaction at last week’s Social Enterprise World Forum to the positive response from the PR and communications industry, nothing beats the reaction we’ve had from the public.

We’ve got a lot more to do to make The Rooftop a success as we count down to a formal launch later in 2018, but initial signs are very encouraging.

It’s only due to the hard work of our Members and the commitment of our clients that this is possible, so a huge thanks must go to them.
