Campaign Collective® becomes a registered trademark

Ten years after Campaign Collective was founded, the social enterprise has reached another important milestone, with its name now officially registered as a trademark.

The trademark recognises Campaign Collective as a distinctive brand and protects the name and reputation built since its launch in 2016.

Over the past decade, Campaign Collective has grown from a new idea for providing communications support differently into a network of experienced communications professionals working together to create positive social and environmental impact.

During that time, Campaign Collective Members have created coalitions and delivered campaigns for charities, social enterprises, public bodies and organisations tackling some of society’s biggest challenges.

Becoming a registered trademark helps protect that identity as Campaign Collective enters its second decade.

Sarah Colombini, Founder Member of Campaign Collective, said:

“When Campaign Collective started ten years ago, the ambition was to create a different kind of communications consultancy – one that brought talented people together, gave clients access to the right expertise and used communications to create positive impact.

“Campaign Collective has grown enormously since then, and the name now represents not just the work being delivered for funders and clients, but the community of people who have helped build it.

“Registering Campaign Collective as a trademark may mean adding just a small symbol to the name, but it recognises that a distinctive brand, reputation and way of working has been created and is worth protecting.

“We’re delighted to now be adding an ® to the Campaign Collective name, and our thanks go to the Public Relations and Communications Association for its initial advice and Lewis Silkin LLP for their support in registering the trademark.”

The registration comes during Campaign Collective’s tenth anniversary year, providing an opportunity to celebrate what Members and Campaign Partners have achieved together – and to look ahead to the Collective’s next chapter.

While the ® symbol might be new, what Campaign Collective stands for remains the same: great communications, delivered collaboratively, with positive social impact at its heart.
