Campaign Collective was proud to partner with WorldSkills Europe in supporting the ninth edition of the European Championship of Young Professionals, which took place in Herning, Denmark from 9 to 13 September 2025.
EuroSkills is an international showcase of technical and vocational education, which brings together hundreds of young people under the age of 25 to compete for the chance to become the Best in Europe in their chosen areas of professional expertise. The Competition is held every two years and organised by WorldSkills Europe and its Member countries.
EuroSkills Herning 2025 was the biggest EuroSkills yet, bringing together 585 young professionals and 526 experts from industry and education for three days of action-packed competitions in 38 skills, ranging from joinery to graphic design, landscape gardening to bakery, and automobile technology to software applications development.
Skilled for a Greener Future
EuroSkills Competitions highlight the power of skills to shape the future of Europe’s economies, industries and communities. With the theme “Skilled for a Greener Future,” EuroSkills Herning 2025 demonstrated how the skilled professions are playing an instrumental role in the Green transition and how young professionals are embedding sustainability into their daily work.
Alongside the Competition, European Ministers responsible for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), also gathered together in Herning to discuss the future of skilled labour in Europe, and the importance of TVET in facilitating the Green and Digital transitions. Following their summit, they visited the competition halls to witness, first-hand, the Competitors at work.
Promoting diversity in skills
Additionally, through a partnership with Danish civil society organisation, Divers, EuroSkills Herning 2025 also highlighted the importance of improving diversity in the skilled trades, shining a light on the female role models forging successful careers in traditionally male-dominated skills and trades.
Media interest in EuroSkills
Campaign Collective has supported the work of WorldSkills Europe since 2019 including international marketing, media and communications activities.
EuroSkills Herning 2025 welcomed more than 300 media representatives from leading national broadcasters, news titles and trade press in all 32 participating countries.
Campaign Collective Member Delia Antoine Burdett said: “We are so proud to play a part in the WorldSkills movement and to support EuroSkills. Through their hard work, success and accomplishments, these impressive young Competitors inspire others to consider a technical and vocational education pathway.”
“EuroSkills is a wonderful opportunity for young professionals to excel in their chosen field, offering a once-in-a-lifetime international competitive experience, which they can use as a springboard to even greater success in their future careers,” added Delia.
EuroSkills Herning 2025 was organised by WorldSkills Europe in partnership with the Ministry of Children and Education of Denmark, Herning Municipality, the Central Jutland Region, SkillsDenmark, and Denmark’s leading employer and labour organisations.
The next edition of EuroSkills will be co-hosted by Germany and Luxembourg in the city of Düsseldorf in 2027. Scheduled for 22-26 September 2027, EuroSkills Düsseldorf will take place at Messe Düsseldorf, a leading international trade fair venue.
