Campaign Collective proudly partnered with WorldSkills Europe to support the eighth edition of the European Championship of Young Professionals, which took place in Gdańsk, Poland from 5-9 September 2023.
Held every two years and organised by WorldSkills Europe together with 32 Member countries, EuroSkills is an international showcase of technical and vocational education, which brings together hundreds of young people under the age of 25 to compete for the chance to become the Best in Europe in their chosen areas of professional expertise.
EuroSkills Gdańsk 2023, with the theme #UnitedBySkills, was an unprecedented event for Poland, bringing together 576 young professionals and 572 experts from industry and education for three days of action-packed competitions in 42 skills, ranging from carpentry to digital construction, from plumbing and heating to robot systems integration, and from cooking to mechatronics.
Media interest from across Europe
Campaign Collective has supported the work of WorldSkills Europe since 2019 and directs all international marketing, media and communications activities for the organisation.
At EuroSkills Gdańsk 2023, Campaign Collective welcomed more than 300 media representatives from leading national broadcasters, news titles and trade press in all 32 participating countries.
As well as hosting media briefings and press conferences at the event, Campaign Collective’s Tom York also oversaw the management of the media centre and 15 members of staff and volunteers on site, managed photography and filming schedules, supported the host organisation and Member country communications teams, and co-produced content for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies.
“EuroSkills provides young professionals with a once-in-a-lifetime international competitive experience, which they can use as a springboard to even greater success in their future careers,” said Campaign Collective Member Delia Antoine Burdett, who serves as social media manager for WorldSkills Europe.
“We are incredibly proud to play a part in helping EuroSkills competitors get the media exposure they rightly deserve; their accomplishments inspire other young people about the success that can be achieved by pursuing a technical and vocational education pathway,” added Delia.

EuroSkills Gdańsk 2023 was organised in partnership with Poland’s Foundation For The Development Of The Education System (FRSE), WorldSkills Poland, WorldSkills Europe, the City of Gdańsk and AmberExpo Gdańsk.
The next edition of EuroSkills will be hosted by Denmark in the city of Herning in 2025. Scheduled for 9-13 September 2025, EuroSkills Herning 2025 will take place at MCH Messecenter Herning, the largest exhibition centre in Scandinavia.
