The Government is currently conducting a review of its communication frameworks to make it easier for the public sector to buy communications support and services.
Campaign Collective Founder Member, Simon Francis, has contributed to the PRCA’s formal response to the consultation. He commented:
The overhaul of the way government communicates is welcome and the proposed frameworks appear a step in the right direction.
Our only concerns would be how they will ensure smaller agencies are successful in getting onto the Solutions Framework for larger briefs and having more clarity on the numbers of suppliers and types of suppliers they expect to appoint to the Frameworks.
Finally, to help companies decide if they should apply, the government should specify how they expect briefs to be issued and how they will adopt the “buy social” principles to communications spending.
