This past summer, the Canal & River Trust celebrated their 10th anniversary as a charity. Over the last decade, the Trust has been protecting, preserving, and promoting 2,000 miles of canals and rivers across England and Wales.
Members of Campaign Collective provided communications support to the Trust’s London & South East regional team and stepped in while recruitment was underway for an in-house communications role. The brief was to help the Trust better communicate with its boating audience.
The team helped to relaunch the Trust’s regional Twitter account and set up a new monthly newsletter, London Boaters’ Update, which is specifically aimed at boaters in the capital. Additional support was also provided to help the planning of events in the region.
Nicola Putnam from Campaign Collective, commented:
“We were happy to support the Canal & River Trust London and the South-East during a very busy period for the charity, and also to support the new Communications and Campaigns Manager as they came into their new role.”
