The Middle East Exchange is a pioneering bi-lingual programme. Implemented by Project Syndicate, it is aiming to foster a new style of social media discussion and debate in the Middle East.
Campaign Collective Members are working with Project Syndicate’s editorial team to bring the best and most incisive commentary on the threats, opportunities and future of the Middle East to the masses.
Using Facebook and Twitter, the campaign seeks to reach the millions of social media users in the Middle East and ask them to contribute to the discussion around the future of the region.
Using the independently produced content – and the best of the Project Syndicate archive – the Middle East Exchange social media channels maintain a constant stream of solutions-orientated content. This includes film summaries of articles created by the Campaign Collective team:
Starting from zero, the team has built up a follower base of in excess of 100,000 on Facebook and 2,000 on Twitter in just three months.
