The public’s need for positive news during the COVID-19 pandemic has seen audience figures for The Rooftop reach record levels.

On Facebook, more than 50,000 people now follow the home of news worth shouting about. And content is now being posted multiple times a day to give the public more of a daily dose of positive news.

Funded by Campaign Collective, the site has seen wider content views rise by 184% since before the pandemic reached the UK.

Last week, The Rooftop also launched TV content for the first time.

The Rooftop TV can be seen on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram TV every Friday lunchtime.

In time, the weekly episode will grow to provide an update on the stories we’ve featured, interviews with the the people behind the news and glimpses of positive news from around the internet.
