What positive impact can a social enterprise have?

A social enterprise, such as Campaign Collective, means that a business will have a positive social impact as well as providing a service.

For example, our Members have supported more than 30 campaigns in the past year.

As well as delivering campaigns with a social purpose, the Collective also launched The Rooftop, the home of news worth shouting about.

Campaign Collective continued to help apprentices become campaigners. Members also led on the development of a social impact definition for the PR & communications industry.

Great examples of social impact communications:

Campaigns delivered by Campaign Collective included:

Over 20 Members contributed to the success of the social enterprise over the last year in delivering campaigns.

Income for the year was down slightly on the previous period due to the English government ending financial support for the Brathay Apprentice Challenge.

Simon Francis, Founder Member of Campaign Collective, commented:

As the first communications agency operating as a social enterprise, we’re proud of the work we’ve delivered over the last year.

That we are also able to further help small campaigning organisations through our work on The Rooftop and Freedom to Campaign Guide shows the added benefit of operating as a social enterprise.

Thank you to our Members, clients and everyone else who has supported us in the last four years.
